Against a mint green background are various illustrations with black lines. In the center there is a museum building with a person holding up a sign in front of it. They are standing on two folders titled Biographies and Photo Album. To the left of the museum building is a person holding a speech bubble over the roof of the building with their disproportionately long left arm. To the right of the museum building is a hand holding a puzzle piece that appears as if it is to be inserted into the right side of the museum. Below that, in the lower right corner of the image, there are several emojis as well as a person in a wheelchair, holding a wrench in their hand. To the left of that, a suitcase is pictured, and next to it, a hand can be seen in front of a staircase, holding the folders just described. To the left of it, a child is holding up a life preserver. Next to it are several emojis. In the lower left corner, feet are shown under a cardboard box; inside the box, which says DOMiD, you can see a camera and a notepad, among other things. Above them, two people are pictured sitting on a bench and holding books in their hands. Above them, in the upper left corner, are two hands holding a thumb up and down, respectively. To the right is a hand holding a pen. Next to them is a small group of three people looking into a book together. In the upper right corner, above the hand with the puzzle piece, is an ear.

Creating #unserMuseum together

The project DOMiDLabs: Making Museum Design Participatory is bringing together various people in four laboratories. The goal of these labs – and the project as a whole – is to develop design concepts and content around a variety of topics and questions, which will help the Documentation Center and Museum of Migration in Germany (DOMiD) create a multifaceted and engaging migration museum in Cologne's Kalk district. DOMiDLabs is sponsored by the German Federal Cultural Foundation from 2021 through 2024.
